Gearbulk Giving Back
Gearbulk has a long history of Giving Back. To formalise these
e昀昀orts, the Gearbulk Solidarity Fund (GBSF) was established
in 2020 in response to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic
to provide additional 昀椀nancial support to Gearbulk’s frontline workers, our seafarers. The success of the original set
up paved the way for the fund to continue with an expanded
scope of supporting other causes and initiatives.
While our contributions to the fund in 2024 were limited,
our commitment to strengthening this initiative remains. As
we re昀椀ne our corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy,
we aim to enhance our approach to structured giving and
ensure that GBSF plays a more impactful role in supporting
meaningful causes. By aligning our e昀昀orts with both community needs and potential collaboration opportunities within
MOL, we will work towards increasing our engagement and
contributions in the years ahead.
