Fleet renewal and operational improvements
In 2024, we made signi昀椀cant strides in 昀氀eet renewal and operational e昀케ciency, reinforcing our commitment to competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation. A noteworthy achievement
this year was the contracting of six new buildings—82,000
tdw—with the 昀椀rst delivery in 2027. They will improve our
competitiveness, emission footprint, and overall e昀케ciency.
We completed an unusually high number of dry dockings
during 2024 with each requiring extensive preparation, and
tight cost control to achieve the desired outcome. Additionally,
we completed the roll-out of the VSAT, signi昀椀cantly improving
internet connectivity for our crews and enhancing business
operations with better data and capacity. We also implemented
a new crew system, BASSnet, across all vessels and manning
agencies, improving automation and control.
